The Hydro Majestic Hotel was founded in 1901 by Mark Foy, a retail tycoon of the time as Australia's first health retreat and is rich in history and decadence, with Foy even going as far as to have the name of the town changed to Medlow Bath. This world heritage listed establishment is just under a two hour drive from Sydney in the
Blue Mountains National Park and stretches 1.1 Km across the escarpment, with stunning panoramic views over the Megalong Valley. The hotel is beautifully preserved with refined and elegant art deco style interiors to its 54 guest rooms, ballroom, functions areas and 3 restaurants.

The Hotel hosts 3 restaurants, the Winter Garden, Salon Du The and The Boiler House. The Winter Garden hosts decadent high teas in the morning or afternoon and dinners in a spectacular dining room setting, complete with impressively large ornate fireplace and expansive panoramic views over the valley. Guests and day trippers can book in for a delicious high tea to enjoy a selection of cakes, slices and sandwiches paired with champagne or a gourmet dinner whose menu is paired with a selection of Australian and international wines.
Salon Du The is one of the bar & lounges of the hotel which celebrates the oriental history of the Hydro Majestic Hotel with it’s Shanghai chic tea room open Friday and Saturday nights serving cocktails and wines from 2pm - 8pm. The Boiler House Cafe is the third establishment that is hosted at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, with 2 levels of dining space and expansive views. The Menu is traditionally Australian and celebrates the produce from around the Blue Mountains region and is open for lunch daily from 11am - 4pm.
